About Us
For the Reader
Who Stayed.
Objects for the patient mind.
Long Form Press exists because we got tired of book merch designed by people who think “classic literature” means The Notebook.
We make stuff for readers who finish the book. Who've argued about translations. Who have Opinions about adaptations. Who are, frankly, a bit much at dinner parties.
Yes, we're pretentious. But we've earned it. And if you're here, so have you.
“Because you didn't sparknotes your way through Dostoevsky.”

“The Long Read, The Short Life.”
The Brand Archetype
The Self-Aware Snob Who's Actually Read The Books
We're Not
- ×Earnest BookTok energy (“reading is my superpower!”)
- ×Pretentious without substance (owns Ulysses, hasn't opened it)
- ×Gatekeeping snobs (actively mean to casual readers)
We Are
- ✓Literate and proud, but aware it's a bit ridiculous
- ✓Read the difficult books and enjoyed them (mostly)
- ✓Self-deprecating about being “that person,” but unapologetic about taste
The vibe: “Yes, I'm annoying. Yes, I'm right.”

Our Philosophy
You read for pleasure but annotate for sport. You're the world-weary reader—tired of the algorithm, allergic to mediocrity, still obsessed with meaning.
We believe in punching up, never down. Mock the person who brags about not reading. Mock the “I only read nonfiction” guy. Mock yourself for being precious about first editions.
But never sneer at someone reading their first classic. The joke is always “we're ridiculous, but the books are actually good.”

“Because attention is the rarest art.”
